Welcome to the Home Page for the Cherokee Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga is nick-named the Scenic City and Scouting flourishes with all of the available opportunities for High Adventure. Our Scout camp, Skymont Scout Reservation, is located on more than 2,400 acres atop the Cumberland Plateau and hosted more than 3,500 Scouts, leaders and family members during 2011. Learn More...
More than 6,800 youth were served last year through the generous assistance of more than 1,800 volunteers. Thank you to our over 1,400 Friends of Scouting givers, our 3 United Way partners and the community supporters that help make all of our programs, camps and services possible.
