PROGRAM KICKOFF - July 30, 2009
The Annual Council-Wide Program Kickoff will be a special event this year as we prepare to celebrate 100 Years of Scouting!  It will take place July 30, 2009 at Concord Baptist Church. Dinner (reservations required) and information booths will be available from 5:30 – 6:30pm.   Come early to get your Unit's "Passport to Adventure" stamped at various program tables and qualify for door prizes, including (3) $100 gift cards to Wal-Mart.  Reservations are needed to order the proper amount of food.  This is an event for adult volunteers only. Register Now

PROGRAM PROMOTION UNIT FUNDRAISER TRAINING
As part of the Council’s Program Kickoff on July 30th, information and materials will be available for units to participate in this year’s Program Promotion Unit Fundraiser.  The emphasis on Unit programming as the priority will continue and will be expanded even further. The sale of Trail’s End popcorn and Time, Inc. magazine gift vouchers are both a part of this effort.  This training will help you get your Unit’s program off to a great start this year and earn up to 40% in Unit Commissions.  You will receive all of your Unit’s sales materials that night.  All Units that attend and register to participate in the 2009 Program Promotion will receive a free “Kickoff Kit” to assist you with your Unit’s fundraiser.  COMPLETE YOUR UNIT COMMITMENT FORM NOW

"MyScouting" will be the portal for our members that will provide access to the following resources: E-Learning - which includes Youth Protection Training; Fast Start for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers; Health Safety Training including Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat, Staffing the District Committee, and Boy Scout Committee Challenge.
